Everything in this recession is in flux, right? And now so are the Bare Bones Bags. In recent months I have been offering 5 different styles of carry bags, but I now need to make adjustments based on which bags are selling the best to help keep my inventory cost down. As of now, I am retiring the BBB-S, BBB-S2 and the BBB-Micro until further notice. Each of these retired bags were selling well and were getting very positive feedback from users but due to increasing inventory costs I can only have on hand bags I know I can sell in a relatively short amount of time. As all of my bags are made by hand one at a time here in Vermont the production cost is quite high but with quality that is second to none.
I have decided to keep the best and longest selling bags available: the BBB and the BBB2… once the economy bounces back I may be able to offer the full line again… in particular I would really like to bring the Stealth bags back into production as I feel it is a great solution for a street photographer, so be sure to let me know if you have your heart set on a “retired” bag- enough demand will bring it back. Thank you for your understanding.
Viva la Revolution-

Hey Stephen, too bad about that. I think the all black stealth bags are the best bags of all. Let me know if you decide to make a run of these again. Best, Mike.
Ahh I was just about to order a black stealth bag, are you going to re start production?
Stephen – I hope things might be looking up? I’m looking for a bag and a BBB could be just the thing, but if I had my choice, I’d really like stealth!
Chalk me up as another definite buyer of a BBB stealth….
(That’s four orders now – are we nearly there?!)
Hope the Stealth will be available soon, will order one when available.
Hi Stephen. Early December 09 I purchased the BBB-S2 for a 5 week trip to Cuba. I carried an M9 and 4 lenses + various bits and pieces. The bag was with me at all times and I have to say it is the best solution for travel shooting I have experienced in 32yrs of professional photography. Sad to see that it is currently off the list. Glad I got in early. I can highly recommend this solution to any Leica user.

Bring back the Stealth! I own the original BBB and love it. Looking forward to the day that I can purchase the BBB-S2 — Hope it’s soon.
Hi Stephen –
I too am building up a Panasonic micro 4/3 system and was looking at a BBB-S or BBB2-S. Been reading lots of early posts until I just now found your “recession” notification…
I’ll keep an eye open for any future production developments.
Will be ordering a black Y-strap soon.
Thanks,
- David

I will post soon a special order run of BBB Stealths here on FR so stay tuned!
Hi, good to hear that the BBB Stealths might be back – I am looking for a bag big enough to cater for a Mamiya 7II system and the BBB-S2 seems an ideal candidate.
