You present your case very well, and make a lot of sense. I too am tired of the constant upgrading in the digital world. Unless flat-bed scanners improve significantly (and the Epson’s all sound good, but it sounds like little practical incremental improvements), those who can’t afford or justify an Imacon are going to have trouble when our Minoltas and Nikons wear out. Hopefully, the marketplace will respond…
